How Cheat Codes Work In GTA 5 On PS5
Cheat codes in GTA 5 on PS5 run as simple commands. The game reads button sequences or phone numbers and then triggers the effect. Cheats disable achievements and trophies for that play session. The game clears some effects when the player dies or when they load a save. Some cheats stack and some replace older effects. Players should save before they use cheats. The console accepts inputs during normal gameplay but not during cutscenes.
How To Enter Cheats On PS5 (Controller Inputs And In-Game Phone Codes)
Players enter GTA 5 cheat codes PS5 with the DualSense controller or the in-game phone. For controller inputs, players press the exact button sequence during play. The game shows a brief confirmation when it accepts the code. For phone codes, players open the in-game phone, go to Contacts, select Dial, and enter the number. The player then presses Call to activate the effect. The phone method works from any moment in free roam. The controller method works only while gameplay accepts inputs. Players should pause rarely while inputting sequences, because a missed button cancels the attempt.
